Pcture essay comment
I have recently viewed a picture essay at www.boston.com. The picture essay I viewed was about things that happened in the year 2011. I really enjoyed this picture essay. It was interesting because I learned new things, especially things I didn't even realized had happened. Life in a Day Review
This movie was recorded and the setting is July 24th 2010. People all over the world recorded small parts of their day.
The scenes I specifically remember are the scenes wedding scenes, scenes of violence, and a lot of the people that live in poorer parts of the world.
A scene that gave me a positive emotional reaction was the shoe shining boy. I thought it was amazing how he would go out onto the streets and work hard for what he needs. I respect him more than half of the losers here who get every thing handed to them...
A scene that had a negative reaction to me was all of the violence. There was so much death, pain, and violence, all in one day. It's terrible.
Many of the patterns of humanity I saw were normal. People all got up, brushed their teeth, went to the bathroom, and got ready for work. It shows how alkike we all are.
There were many juxtaposition in this movie. This means complete opposites put together. Many times I saw scenes of hunger and depression put next to scenes of rich people with boats.
This movie was amazing, touching and I would definently recomend this to a friend. 5 stars *****

Most influentual people of 2011
Recently, we read a list of the most influentual people in 2011. These are 3 people I chose to talk about:
Mark Zuckerberg- The creator of Facebook, he's a very gifted man on a computer. Although Facebook was not entirely his idea, he made it possible. Facebook has connected many people over the past couple years, and for that, we thank him and his co-creators.
Bruno Mars- This man is a famous singer. Also, he is one of a new generation, for he is one who also writes his own music, and can produce music too. Unlike many artist who pre-record their sings and just mouth it or auto tune it. He is an insperation to all of the music community.
Michelle Obama- This woman is the wife of current president Barack Obama. Not only is she the first african-american first lady, like her husband, the first african-american president, but she is also a mom trying to change America. She has started a "Childhood Obesity Task Force", to fight childhood obesity, which is a major problem.
